I think this school is amazing. I left Friday 17 July 2009. I love all the teachers at this school and I love the way that they treat the disabled boy. I wish him well in the future bless him. All my seven years at Kingswear are now over I will miss them for sure

The wife was delighted to see Kingswear on the internet. She was a pupil at the school many years ago.She is now age 77, and living in Perth Australia. I met her when I was in the Royal Navy in 1950, and we have been together ever since. Enjoyed watching, keep up the good work.By the way the wife was Pat Satchell before we married in 1952.

I attended kingswear school in 1940 to about 1945, when I and my family were evacuated to there fropm London. We then lived a 2 Agra Villas. It was a great school then as well. (no website, television or anything new fangled like that). I now live in Exminster Nr Exeter and although I have visited kingswear I have have never visited the school but I promise, God willing, to do so in 2008. (If I can climb the hill?)

Wow fancy Kingswear school having its own web site. I attended there from approx 1943-1945, under the tuition of Miss Haywood. I lived at the Steam Packet Inn, Fore St. during and immediately after the war. Living now and for the last 30 years in Sydney Australia. If anyone can remember me please drop me a line at gentleman_jim34@yahoo.com.au

I'm not quite sure how I got here, but Mark Oakshott used to teach me back in middle school we were his first class in year 5. I still remember what an amazing teacher he was and his motto too....work hard play hard.

I really enjoyed the start of my education at Kingswear during 1949/55 went on to Dartmouth and Churston Grammars, became a Bank Manager with Nat West and have spent all my married life since 1967, with Joyce in Bournemouth, with 2 sons at JP Morgan. So glad to hear educations standards are still high in Kingswear!

How lovely for my old school to have its own website. I attended Kingswear Primary from 1939-1945. Am now living with my husband Peter in Queensland Australia and we still love to keep up with all that is happening in my birthplace. Quite a few of Kingswear Primary old pupils live in Australia and it is great to share memories with them.. We all studiously search the Kingswear website and all that it offers. The website is a credit to all involved..not least Michael Stevens..

It is great to see the old place still going, I like your web site very much. My family and I went to school at Kingswear a long time ago now. I have some fond memorys of then. I write poetry now and work as a gardener in Buckfastleigh, but it is nice to look back. Good luck in all that you do.

The teachers at Kingswear School produce the most friendly and well adjusted confident children. The school has a wonderful happy atmosphere, where the youngest children play hand in hand with the junior children.

Thank you so much Ms Albon for all you have done for my children, working them hard, manners. In all, thank you for your main interest in educating the children. I could go on, my kids have not had a bad word about you, they respect you, and they believe you should achieve a medal.
